This fine art print is reproduced from my original tissue paper collage inspired by a summer evening on Siesta Key Beach in Florida. As the day eased toward night, two girls walk along the shoreline carrying their floats home, their quiet chatter and laughter drifting across the sand. It’s a small, fleeting moment—full of lightness, movement, and the gentle feeling of a day ending well.
What drew me to this scene was the contrast between youthful energy and the steady calm of the beach. The water moves slowly, reflecting the fading sky in layered bands of color, while the horizon holds everything in balance. There is both motion and stillness here, excitement softening into ease.
The original artwork was created using my signature tissue paper collage technique, layering hand-painted paper to build texture, depth, and movement. That same layered quality is preserved in this high-quality print, allowing the colors, textures, and subtle details of the original piece to remain visible and alive.
This artwork is about memory as much as place—how summer evenings linger, how joy can be both lively and calm, and how certain moments stay with us long after the light fades. It’s a piece meant to invite pause, reflection, and a sense of quiet joy into your space.
